Students of Materials Science and Engineering in the thesis-option M.S. and Ph.D. curricula are expected to join one of th exciting research groups headed by MSEN faculty. The MSEN program will make every effort to pair students with existing research assistantships.

The Texas A&M University Department of Student Financial Aid exists to help students find ways to fund their college education through loans, grants, and student employment. International students are advised to check into opportunities available to them through International Student Services Financial Aid. The page also offers a list of scholarships available to incoming TAMU students.

Minority US citizens may be eligible for Diversity Fellowships. Those who received a bachelor's degree at a Texas university may be eligible for a Pathways to Doctorate fellowship. Both are administered by the Office of Graduate Studies.
